Finished-Tea

Iced tea is so refreshing and I always, ALWAYS used to buy it ready made from the store. Until I looked at the label the one day and saw how much sugar they put in that stuff! Crazy. So I looked up on how to make it yourself and turns out, it’s a lot more simple than I’d have imagined.

All you need is:

1 x teabag of rooibos tea
refrigerated sparkling water
1/4 lemon wedge
lemon slice to add extra flavour

Step 1. Boil some water and pour in about an inch and a half over the teabag. Set it aside to cool right down to room temperature.

Step 2. Remove the teabag and top up the glass with sparkling water

Step 3. Squeeze the juice of the 1/4 lemon wedge into the tea and add the slice of lemon to the top of the drink.

Apart from waiting for the boiling water to cool down to room temperature (I may have popped it in the fridge to speed up the process), this is probably one of the easiest drinks to make.

It’s super refreshing and the lemon juice gives it the flavour kick it needs. I can’t wait to do up a whole jug of this to enjoy on those hot summer days.

Try it, and while you’re at it, why not mix it up with different tea blends for different flavours? Heaps to choose from! Love Megs xo
