It’s sometimes a strange concept to me that here in Australia Christmas is celebrated in the heat of Summer. As with our routine for Christmas Eve we have Christmas Day down pact! Once each family has spent the morning together, opening their gifts; we all go to my beautiful mum’s house, she has a pool. We have a delicious champagne brunch, we do our secret santa and we spend the day outdoors in the pool. We eat leftovers from dinner the night before, play with our christmas presents and for those who want to, nap on the couch. It’s really a fun day.
This year, I’ll be wearing a flowy, summery, green dress – tis the time to be festive. I love neutralising it with shades of brown. And for the extra-special Christmas day touch, red nails. I’m loving Essie nail polish too by the way.
