If you’ve been following me a while, you will know that Christmas is my absolute, most favourite time of the year. Even if we don’t live in the northern hemisphere, with white snow, hot cocoa and adorable matching cozy winter pajamas (low key sob). Our Christmases here are all about being around the pool, bbqing, and sweet treats like Christmas pavlova.

This year, being pregnant, I was wanting to make something festive, like my cookies and cake from last year, but I just didn’t have the energy. So I opted for a super easy green and red Christmas Pavlova.

I bought the ready-made base, and some green and red fruits (kiwis, cherries, raspberries, strawberries and mint) and some cream, and literally just put it all together. So easy, so fresh, and so yum.

I did a huge Aldi haul and got a bunch of their xmas range along with the ingredients for my Christmas pavlova.

CHRISTMAS PAVLOVA INGREDIENTS

Ready made pavlova base
500ml thickened cream
Mint Leaves
3x Kiwi Fruits
1 punnet strawberries
1 punnet raspberries
1 punnet cherries
Icing Sugar for Dusting (optional)

Step 1

Prep all of your fruits, by peeling the kiwi fruits, and thinly slicing them. Cut the tops off of the strawberries and cut them into quarters. Wash the cherries, mint leaves and raspberries.

Step 2

Whip the cream so it’s nice and thick

Step 3

Put the pavlova onto a plate or cake dish. Then you want to add the cream and layer it on so it’s nice and thick

Step 4

Decorate with all of your pre-sliced fruit, and sprinkle over with some icing sugar

And that is it – voila! it looks and tastes amazing!

I’d love to know what sort of treats you guys make for Christmas?
